I consider my self an anti-capitalist for several reasons. Capitalism is a system of exploitation in which the limited forms of equality and freedom we have today have had to be superimposed on the system through a long fought series of popular struggles. The capitalist states of the world have since adopted minor forms of many of these values as a means of pacifying the exploited. Capitalism allows the most aggressive, manipulative and unscrupulous individuals to succeed within it, to there by perpetuate the system further. Capitalism can not be reformed as it is a system designed to overcome obstacles to profit and reforms placed upon the system, are in the eyes of the modern bourgeoisie an obstacle to profit. Capitalism is a system which through ideological hegemony has come to represent the economic and political normality of our society. It has been so engrained in us that many find it hard to look beyond it. To state it simply I am an anti capitalist because I believe in justice and capitalism is unjust.

I like what Henry says about capitalism allowing the most aggressive, manipulative and unscrupulous to succeed. I would say that it not only allows but gives a special advantage to those who have narcissistic and/or anti-social (as in injurious to others, lacking empathy) qualities.
