Occupy Missoula will participate in:
Statewide "Occupy the Capital" March and Rally Oct. 29-30
This Gathering includes all the OccupyMontana Groups throughout the State
Sign up at the Missoula County Courthouse Information Tent
Assemble at the Missoula Courthouse Encampment 9:00 am Saturday, Oct. 29
Leave for Helena 9:30 am
This is a powerful action, and we strongly encourage all to attend.
We will be carpooling. We need drivers.

12:00 p.m. Gather in Hill Park, on the corner of Neil and Benton Aves. Sign making will be available in preparation for the march.
1:00 p.m. Nonviolence/Civil Disobedience Workshop will be offered in the park for those who would like to attend. It is the consensus of the General Assembly in OccupyHelena that we are a nonviolent movement.
1:30 p.m. March to the Capitol begins by gathering in front of Federal Reserve building, on the North side of Neil Ave, at the intersection with Fuller Ave. From the Federal Reserve building, we walk one block East on Neil Ave. We will turn right (south) onto Last Chance Gulch.We will continue on Last Chance Gulch for three blocks, passing in front of Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank. From there, we will turn left (east) onto 6th Ave and proceed directly to the Capitol Steps(north side).
2:30 p.m. Public Forum on the Capitol Steps
Check-in/Reports from Occupations around the state. Soap Box Open Forum with a time limit per speaker in order to maximize the number of people who would like the opportunity to speak, outside on the Capitol Steps.
4:30 p.m. Back to Women’s Park (across Fuller Ave from Hill Park – our starting point). Many will walk, but shuttling will be available.
5:00 p.m. OccupyMontana General Assembly in Women’s Park/Soup and Bread Supper. Topics to include how to sustain the movement, building the OccupyMontana network, and how to avoid being co-opted. OccupyHelena is gathering and preparing food, bring a dish or dessert to share if you like but please, no alcohol this is a family friendly drug free event!
7:00 p.m. – Candle Light Vigil for Scott Olsen and all those that have suffered injury and arrest in our non-violent occupy movement.
10:00 p.m. Open Time – for entertainment, gathering, brainstorming, relationship building etc. Bring instruments for a Jam Session.

We gather in solidarity with the ongoing protest in New York City, Occupy Wall Street, and the growing number of cities whose people will no longer sit back watching corporate and special interests run their government. We are citizens of the United States, and this country is ours. Our government is divided. We, the people, are united. We are the 99%.
