Hello Occupy Missoula, From the start of Occupy Wall Street, I felt a sense of excitement and relief that people were coming together, gathering, talking, and expressing their truth. And when the opportunity came in Missoula, I was drawn to be part of it because it seemed bigger than myself, which may connect me to the rest of the world. It is through this ongoing process where changes seem to take place on a subtle level in both our minds and bodies, a re-learning and de-conditioning of how we live. A latest conversation with Meg inspired our own message of "Occupy the Body", a reclaiming of the body separate from the mind (movement, emotion, sensory input, catharsis, art, dance, singing, theatre) as a reliable medium to communicate with each other, make decisions and changes, to learn, discover and promote overall health. Currently, I am in my first year as a speech language pathologist with the Missoula County Public Schools. This takes up the majority of my time and energy, therefore, when I am not with you physically, I am with you in my work and I aspire to diligently provide support and care to children, their families and teachers. I appreciate all the people involved and volunteer efforts that continually support this process. Together our efforts offer hope and new visions for the future. Thank you all. With care, Tricia Attachments:
