Hello Occupy Members! First of all I want to than those who are putting up with the miserable conditions in my behalf. Unfortunately I will be going in for my second spinal surgery Tuesday so I am unable to actually be there in person much and I'm so darn poor I cannot be a whole lot of help financially. I will be watching from my bed during recovery and hope to join you in the flesh this coming spring. I'll be there for a bit this weekend and bring what I can to contribute to the cause. Sad to say, I am sure we will still need to be exerting this pressure even then, little real hope exists on this side of the next election. I went to the Obama 2012 office opening last night to deliver a message but quickly decided I would be unable to do so w/out losing check on my emotions. I returned to Montana in '08 because I was so inspired by Barac Obama and he aroused great hope in my heart. My grandchildren, my daughter and myself are some of those "mud people" the ugly sects moving into Montana refer to. I sincerely hope their stay turns out to be as short as others in the past enjoyed. Montana has been a multi-racial melting pot from it's earliest roots, not to say there haven't been bumps in the road but we have always prided ourselves on being tolerant of our differences and on our Independence. This movement is a fantastic example of those ideals-it is not simply a bunch of hippies but is instead a mixture of concerned Montanans from every walk of life. We have been accused of not having a coherent message but anyone who does not get that all we are asking is for every American, no, make that every World Citizen, to have respect for their dignity, to have an equal opportunity to work and be compensated fairly so they might provide a home, food, education and a healthy environment for his family. In other words, the same chance working middle class Americans had before 1980. The Financial Industry needs to be reigned in and I think we are the wranglers to get this herd of cats in control. I will vote for Obama but I won't work so hard for him, I WILL concentrate my money and energy to Progressive Populist candidates because that's what we need right now-we need to make progress, to move forward and to enact Popular ideas like regulating Wall Street and taxing the wealthy 1% at a fair rate that will allow us to control our Debt and to invest in our Infrastructure, our Educational System and an Energy Independent Future. If we can keep up this energy the coming Century could well be the Best Century in America's History. Thank You All for this Energy, the Greenest kind of energy there is! Grassroots Energy!
