OM can't keep depending on donations forever. It seems like they are already starting to run a little low. Why not start offering services in exchange for camp needs? Somebody needs their house cleaned and Occupy needs some propane, why not work out a deal? Supporters and Occupiers can offer their services (whatever they can do: some housework, a good meal, maybe a little car maintenance, anything really) to the community to get the things you all need.
I would suggest sending out press releases to KECI and KGVO and any other news outlets : Occupy Goes to Work. It could garner some good press for the encampment by showing non-supporters that we aren't a bunch of lazy hippies, as well as fulfill some practical camp needs. It would also be a good experiment in cooperative barter economies.
That's my thought for the day. Whaddya think? Any comments?

I'm on the same page Josh. I'm hiring some occupiers m'self in the next couple of days. I can't think of a group of people more interested in working to support themselves and I trust them one heck of a lot more than I would trust strangers who do the sort of work I need done for a living.
I'm also working on a more global application for your idea.

I think it would be in the spirit of this to put up a Resume board at the Occupation. And point out how many people are underpaid or overeducated for their job in this community.
