7) Information handed out on how to make a corporate person costume and how to make freeway signs, planning to organize a night for making them.

c. Communication
d. Breakout sessions:
i. Set up facilitation teams for strategy weekend
ii. Discussion of speaker for Saturday agenda slot [the Agenda is attached]
e. Workgroup BREAKOUT SESSION: Facilitation team organization & signup, Agenda speaker
IV. Discussion of Workgroup Topics
a. Will provided a summary of the Paul Cienfuegos weekend, complete with a room-length time line of the US constitution. One of the key ideas is to “Create crises of jurisdiction,” situations to draw attention to contradictions, which will confront and question our founding documents. Those not affected can’t have more say in local decisions, charters can be revoked, people must be woken up. Reclaim our authority rather than challenging or protesting corporations. The words “corporation,” “slavery,” and “democracy” are not contained in the constitution. Book title suggestion from Olympia: “Unequal Protection.” Poster was compiled by a few groups include Move to Amend, Alliance for Democracy, Women’s Int’l League for Peace & Freedom. Put ourselves in opposition to corporations so they have to challenge us in open infringement on our rights. [General discussion ensued] The weekend was a history and a discussion of that history. There is a group meeting that came out of the workshop which is tentatively set for this Friday.
b. Facilitation Teams for Strategy Weekend. Planning “Facilitation Lite” for the Strategy Weekend discussions. To act as scribe and to keep conversations on topic. Also a stack-keeper will be set for each and can step up as needed to keep stack. Those that want to do that can split off and do that.
i. Q: What time are we meeting to do cleaning? 6-9pm at Union Hall. Mops and buckets are already here, bring cleaning solutions, buckets, rags, maybe a ladder. Chairs, pillows rugs, etc all ok to bring, since it will be a long weekend. No slumber parties!
ii. Potluck is on Saturday night. Sign up on google docs, if you can’t don’t worry just bring food. Crockpots for hot food, found a fridge which will be plugged in but bring a few coolers as backup.
c. Communication
i. Outreach: Jim to send an announcement saying we are having this strategy weekend. What about Occupy Montana? Spring likely to have more going on, there is a domain held for it and a facebook page. There is not any community outreach planned; though everyone is welcome, this is mainly to determine strategies for Occupy Missoula. People from other communities seem to be following what we are doing some.
ii. Is the schedule set up, and will it be in the minutes? A revised agenda went out to the listserv. Most current version will be posted with the minutes.
iii. Posters/Definitions
d. [Break off into work groups: Facilitation & Agenda finalization/Speaker]
V. Evaluation
[N/A]
